Principal's Message

Dear Rainier View Families, 

On behalf of the entire Eagle community, I am thrilled to extend a warm welcome to you and your family! We are honored to have you join our diverse and vibrant school family. 

At Rainier View, we take great pride in fostering an inclusive environment where every student is seen, valued, and celebrated for who they are. We are committed to providing a learning environment that challenges students to reach their full potential through high academic standards and rigorous instruction. Our focus is on cultivating critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic. We believe that all students can achieve excellence, and we provide the support and resources necessary for them to succeed. 

Students will be exposed to complex texts, multi-step problems, and hands-on projects designed to deepen their understanding and push their intellectual boundaries. While we maintain high standards, we also recognize that each student learns differently. Our teachers will differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of our learners, providing support where needed and extending learning for those who are ready to go beyond. Regular assessments will help us monitor your child’s progress and identify areas where additional support may be needed. We will provide meaningful feedback to guide improvement and celebrate successes. 

At Rainier View, learning is required! All eagles are safe, kind, and responsible. We ask for your partnership in reinforcing these expectations at home. Encouraging your child to take ownership of their learning, set high goals, and consistently apply themselves is critical in their success.
